Counterstrain, Facilitated Positional Release, Oscillatory Techniques, Ligamentous Articular Strain

This course focuses on the use of indirect positional release techniques to treat pain syndromes. This course takes the theory of muscle approximation to a new level. We incorporate an introduction to Ligamentous Articular Strain and oscillatory techniques will be mastered.

Students will learn the physiology behind the effectiveness of these techniques as well as the concepts for an effective treatment using them. This will expand the knowledge and variety of techniques available for students to use safely within their scope of practice.
